Aeroquest Optimal delivers all photogrammetrically-collected data in digital format to exact customer specifications and in a variety of formats for use in CAD and GIS systems.
Digital imagery or high accuracy scanning of film images provides the basis for softcopy stereo compilation. All features are collected by experienced compilers according to customer specifications using our using our seventeen (17) first order analytical stereo plotters - all state-of-the-art Intergraph Softcopy Photogrammetric Workstations. Planimetric features, such as structures, transportation, natural and man-made features are identified and interactively digitized.
All planimetric data are collected in a 3D environment as a true x, y, z file and stored in a database file for post processing. Projects are designed to meet our customers specific applications. The leadership provided by our project management team paired with the cartographic experience and knowledge of our compilers is a cornerstone of our success in the digital mapping industry.
Digital Topographic Mapping
Topographic Contour Maps are generated for purposes such as highway construction, erosion management, inventory calculation and many other applications. 3D elevation data is derived from traditional photogrammetric processes as well as from LiDAR.
Using LiDAR, Aeroquest Optimal delivers complete surface data including digital surface models (DSM), digital terrain models (DTM), contours, triangulated irregular networks (TIN), and raster DEM grids. Digital orthophotography can be draped over elevation models to provide an enhanced 3-D visualization.
Volumetric Mapping and Calculations
Aeroquest Optimal has a long history of providing volume calculations to a wide variety of customers. We provide volume reports for coal storage, wood chip inventory, aggregates, landfills and a host of other storage or inventory stock.
